The special exhibition "Photography in the WeimarRepublic", a transfer from the LVR-Landes-Museum Bonn, will be on display in the Peter-Behrens-Bau of the LVR-Industriemuseum from January 25, 2022. The Weimar Republic lasted only 14 years and was characterized by antagonisms in politics, society and technology. Spurred on by innovations in camera, film and printing technology, photography shaped the face of this period like no other medium. The exhibition shows around 350 photographs divided into ten thematic rooms and takes a look at the turbulent Weimar period.

A cooperation of the F.C. Gundlach Foundation with the LVR-Landesmuseum Bonn and the Deutsche Fotothek Dresden.
