Since the beginning of the millennium, Henrik Spohler's photo series have addressed the consequences of modern economic globalization. A total of six groups of works are dedicated to the technical infrastructures of an emerging information age, the changing world of work in increasingly automated industrial production, the consequences of industrial agriculture, the hubs of global trade, basic research as a driver for future progress, or the interface between applied research and the latest industrial production.
