The Reinhart Wolf Foundation in the F.C. Gundlach Foundation

Since 1988, the Reinhart Wolf Foundation, in accordance with its founder's wishes, has supported young photographers by awarding the prestigious Reinhart Wolf Prize. This success story is primarily thanks to Jutta Buer, who has guided the Reinhart Wolf Foundation from its inception.

F.C. Gundlach was deeply connected to Reinhart Wolf as a friend and colleague, and later also to his foundation. For over 25 years, he supported the Reinhart Wolf Foundation and Jutta Buer, assisting them in creating the award-winning exhibitions. He also welcomed the idea of incorporating the Reinhart Wolf Foundation into the F.C. Gundlach Foundation to ensure Reinhart Wolf's memory is preserved. Thanks to the help and support of advisory board members Dr. Gisela Wild and Prof. Christoph Stumpf, this idea was implemented with the Hamburg Foundation Supervisory Authority.
