Fee Schedule for the Use of Image Licenses

General

The F.C. Gundlach Foundation website contains image documents from the archives of the F.C. Gundlach Foundation. Selected image documents from the F.C. Gundlach Foundation can be ordered via the online shop. The following fee schedule applies to the use of these image documents from the F.C. Gundlach Foundation.

1. Usage fees and Provision

The F.C. Gundlach Foundation provides tonal-optimized files without retouching. The user is entitled to perform standard retouching to improve image quality. The following fees apply for the use or publication of image documents. Prices include 7% VAT for sales in Germany and to private customers in the EU. For sales of image licences to business customers within the EU, the reverse charge procedure can be applied (where the recipient assumes liability for VAT), provided that a company name and the corresponding VAT number have been provided and successfully validated. For image licence sales outside the EU, please contact us so that we can check whether and under what conditions we can offer the image licence.

2. Discounts on user fees

The following volume discounts are granted for the use or publication of multiple images in one publication:

• for 3 or more image media: 20%
• for 10 or more image media: 30%

3. Provision fees

If the existing data quality of the image documents is insufficient, digitization can be commissioned at the user's expense.

4. Other regulations

Customers are liable for the use of the images in accordance with the general terms and conditions.

The usage agreement applies to one-time, non-exclusive use per image document for the precisely specified purpose. The copyright and/or property rights remain with the F.C. Gundlach Foundation.

The customer is responsible for safeguarding further rights (e.g. copyrights to depicted works of art, personal rights, rights under trademark law).

The F.C. Gundlach Foundation accepts orders and commissions subject to reservation and is entitled to reject them.
