The F.C. Gundlach Foundation, established on March 8, 2000, as a non-profit foundation with legal capacity under civil law, is based in Hamburg. The purposes of the F.C. Gundlach Foundation are to preserve and present the foundation's collection and archives and to promote art and culture as well as science and research in the field of photography, in particular the promotion of photography as a cultural asset.
