Archive Wilfried Bauer

Wilfried Bauer photographed for newspapers and magazines from 1964 to 2005. His oeuvre includes reportage and landscape photographs, as well as a multitude of personal motifs that arose from his everyday encounters with the world. After a fire in his studio in 2005, his work threatened total loss. Thanks to Bauer's widow, Ute Schreiner, a large portion of his archive was preserved and is now housed in the F.C. Gundlach Foundation's depot.
