Bulky Agfa box

An oversized tin Agfa film box is our object of the month. It served as an advertising tool for the company Professional Photo Services, or PPS for short, which was founded by F.C. Gundlach in 1971.

Agfa, founded in Berlin in 1867, was one of the leading manufacturers of photographic films, cameras, and photochemistry. In the 1970s and 1980s, Agfa films were equally popular with amateur and professional photographers, valued for their color fidelity and detail accuracy.
