Anlässlich des 90. Geburtstags von Walter Schels zeigen die Stiftung F.C. Gundlach und C/O Berlin die erste große Retrospektive des Fotografen in Berlin.

With this pre-mortem bequest, the F.C. Gundlach Foundation expands its archive cluster "From Reportage and Journalism to Conceptual Photo Series" with an important contemporary position.

The catalog not only contains numerous pictures by renowned artists but also expands the exhibition on display at the Bucerius Kunstforum with interdisciplinary contributions on photography as a cultural asset.

Just in time for the 100th birthday of the Hamburg photographer, curator and collector Prof. F.C. Gundlach (1926 – 2021), the City of Hamburg, Deichtorhallen Hamburg GmbH and the F.C. Gundlach Foundation have agreed to extend and expand the loan of the Gundlach Collection to Deichtorhallen Hamburg GmbH for at least another 20 years.

The exhibition F.C. Gundlach. You'll Never Watch Alone examines the work of F.C. Gundlach (1926-2021) as a photographer, gallerist, collector, entrepreneur and networker.

The F.C. Gundlach Foundation for Photography, together with Nimbus. Art and Books, invites you to the presentation of the book "Andreas Herzau. Gucken. Gespräche über Fotografie mit Sebastian Lux" on Saturday, March 21st, at 7 pm in Leipzig.

A selection of photographs by Andreas Herzau, who died far too young last year, will be on display at the Free Academy of Arts in Hamburg from August 29th to October 19th, 2025.

From September 18th to October 23rd, 2025, the F.C. Gundlach Foundation, in cooperation with the Elmshorn Citizens' Foundation, will present the exhibition "Film Stars and Fashion" featuring works by F.C. Gundlach at the Elmshorn Art Association.

From September 7th to November 16th, 2025, the exhibition will be on display at its second venue, the Kunsthalle Erfurt.

Four photographers offer very different perspectives on the Port of Hamburg, from its use as a backdrop for fashion photos to its striking panorama. A photo exhibition from June 13 to July 6, 2025, presented by the F.C. Gundlach Foundation at the Fabrik der Künste (Factory of Arts).
